I’ve been hitting refresh myself lately - new website, refined look, but the same HotSauce personality.
It’s not about changing who I am - It’s about making sure everything still reflects who I’ve become, because, let’s be honest, even the best systems slow down over time.
Think about your computer… you always leave it on, and then… your browser tabs multiply, your screen gets cluttered with loads of different windows, and that annoying buffering wheel is almost ever present - and for those with slightly older kit - the fan starts to hum louder than you’d like.
But, then you hit refresh - and everything suddenly works again.
That’s like your brand too.
Over time, messaging drifts, visuals look a little old and out of place, and the story that once stood out starts to blend in.
Nothing’s broken, but it’s lost that sharpness, that spark that once made people stop scrolling and pay attention.
A brand refresh is like clearing the cache.
You don’t delete the good stuff. You just make space for it to perform at its best.

You know when, one day, your living room just doesn’t feel right? Layout’s the same, the furniture’s fine, but somehow it’s not you anymore.
Then you move a few things around, add something new, and suddenly it feels alive again. That’s what a good brand refresh does - the same foundation, but with better energy.
Staying still, in business or design, is just a slower way of going backwards.
